Google Trends caught the most googled words and phrases a day after the results, and to the surprise of all, Britons had to actually google " What is the EU referendum' and 'what happens if we leave the EU'.

This, even after numerous campaigns by politicians and world leaders elaborating on the crisis that may outbreak post a Brexit.

The analytics arm of Google had seen a huge increase in the amount of Britons querying about the EU referendum fallout. Google trends recorded a spike in the number of people asking such questions shortly after the polls were closed. Incidentally, these search terms were flat in the week prior to the votes.

This clearly wasn't an expert-induced decision taken by the citizens, but based purely on class and inequality.

According to some Britons, as interviewed by international media, for people, who live in towns like Peterborough, Europe is no more than a mass influx of Eastern European Immigrants that have ruined towns and cities with crime, drugs, pollution and alcohol.

They also said that residents of such cities and towns have openly displayed their backlash towards immigrants by voting to leave. It was in fact the sole motive for an exit.

While these are crucial issues that need to be dealt with, it should not be a necessary factor for a Brexit vote, believe experts. Short-term gratification for citizens surpassed the long-term economic stability for the nation and global economics, added experts.

Meanwhile, there is a constantly growing online petition that is pressing for a second referendum as people all around are gaining news as to why the June 24th Brexit was a disastrous move. It has passed 3 million signatures till date.

With signatures rising, Labour Party MP, David Lammy tweeted: "We can stop this madness and bring this nightmare to an end through a vote in Parliament. Our sovereign Parliament needs to now vote on whether we should exit the EU."

"The referendum was an advisory, non-binding referendum. The Leave campaign's platform has already unravelled and some people wish they hadn't voted to Leave."
