Industrial output, measured by the index of industrial production (IIP), fell by 3.6% on a Y-o-Y basis in February 2021.

IIP for the mining sector stood at 116.5 (down 5.5% on Y-o-Y basis) in February.

IIP of manufactured products declined by 3.7%. The fall in manufacturing sector was broad-based, with 17 of the 23 sub-groups contracting.
