US Air Force has released the first images of its next-generation stealth bomber in flight. The Northrop Grumman B-21 ‘Raider’ is expected to enter service by 2027 and replace the existing bomber fleet of B-1 ‘Lancer’ and the B-2 ‘Spirit’ by 2040. The images of the massive aircraft in flight were released by the Edwards Air Force Base in California and reposted by the USAF. The aircraft was unveiled on Dec 2, 2022 in a glittering ceremony at the company’s manufacturing facility in Palmdale, California.
