During PM Modi's visit to Russia, it was announced that the Russian State Atomic Energy Agency, Rosatom, is in discussions with Delhi to construct six high-power nuclear units as part of a new project. Rosatom's CEO, Alexei Likhachev, mentioned that the company is also exploring the development of low-power nuclear plants in India.
