Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Congress party on Tuesday following the circulation of a viral video featuring one of its leaders, Sam Pitroda. Pitroda, the chairman of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC), sparked controversy with his remarks attempting to draw an analogy to India's diversity. Referring to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and Pitroda, he stated, "I learned that there's an uncle in America who serves as the philosophical guide to the 'Shehzada', and just like the third umpire in cricket, this 'Shehzada' seeks advice from the third umpire." Modi addressed a rally in Telangana's Warangal, condemning Pitroda's comment: "This philosophical uncle asserted that those with black skin are from Africa. This implies you are insulting numerous individuals of the country based on their skin color." Expressing his anger, the Prime Minister asserted that he cannot tolerate anything against his countrymen. He questioned whether the potential of the country's people will be judged based on skin color.
