Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took a dig at her predecessor and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal while speaking at the India Today Conclave. Mentioning the ‘sheeshmahal’ controversy, Gupta said that she is not the kind of Chief Minister who “sits and works in a sheeshmahal”. Asked by Business Today Executive Director Rahul Kanwal about how she handles the ‘boys club’ in reference to BJP giant slayers, including Parvesh Verma - one of Gupta's cabinet ministers - who dethroned Kejriwal from the New Delhi seat, Rekha Gupta said she felt like the ‘naayika’ (heroine) from the Bollywood movie ‘Nayak’. She also promised to clean up river Yamuna in the next three years and said she planned to start river cruises on similar lines as in Ahmedabad.
