Tata Group's £4 bn electric vehicle battery plant will be located in southwest England and aims to supply a new line of electric Jaguar and Land Rover models. The factory will have a capacity of 40 gigawatt-hours, enabling it to produce batteries for approximately half a million vehicles annually, depending on battery size.
