The e-commerce festive offers have come to an end and the companies are expected to register transactions worth Rs 11,000-13,000 crore, according to a report by RedSeer consulting.
Sales of Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal have exceeded expectations from last year's sales.
Amazon and Snapdeal even saw a growth of customers from tier II and tier III towns.
Flipkart emerges as the winner among the three e-comapnies recording sales worth 15.5 million which includes sales from Jabong and Myntra.
Here are all the facts and figures of how the three e-tailers performed:
FLIPKART
1. Flipkart said it crossed internal targets by 40% in its Big Billion Day sale.
2. One lakh customers bought items above Rs 50,000 each.
3. Flipkart sold 2.5 million smartphones. More than the number of smartphones sold in a week in India.
4. LED televisions sold on Flipkart in five days exceeded the entire sales of LED TVs by retail stores in 45 days.
5. Three out of four apparel sold online where from Flipkart.
6. On October 3 on Flipkart sales crosses Rs. 1400 crores - highest in history.
AMAZON
1. Amazon sold over 15 million units in its Great Indian Festival, 3 times bigger than last year.
2. Prime membership emerged as the highest selling product.
3. Amazon claimed a billion hits in its first 12 hours of the sale.
4. It generated 80 percent traffic from mobile.
5. Mobiles grew at 5x and Large appliances grew by 7x as compare to the daily run rate.
SNAPDEAL
1. Snapdeal said it sold over 11 million units in its Unbox Diwali sale.
2. Prepaid orders jumped to 50 per cent of total orders.
3. 4x increase of cutomers from last sale.
4. Fashion, home and electronics were the highest selling categories.
