India Today Conclave 2023 news: RPSG Group Chairman Sanjiv Goenka said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi taught the world to respect India and Indians. Goenka further mentioned that Indians were not given the respect that they deserved in the last 65-70 years of Independence before Modi came to power in 2014. He also said that he is inspired by Reliance Industries' chairman Mukesh Ambani. Goenka said that the billionaire's skill in execution, vision of scale, vision of perfection, compassion, and ability to reach out to people. Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal said that he has a total debt of $13 billion and has earned $5 billion in the last year. He added he aims to earn $10 billion next year while further mentioning there has been no default. Agarwal also stated that Indian business minds are honest and shares of any company with an Indian CFO or CEO at the helm are the most highly valued. He added that Vedanta will make cheaper and more effective semiconductor chips at the Gujarat plant.
Master Blaster of Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar said that Test Cricket should be engaging and exciting and the duration of the matches does not matter. He also said that ODI cricket is getting monotonous without a doubt. Tendulkar also said that the current format has two no-balls, which eliminates reverse swing.
