Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to reduce the syllabus for students of classes 9 to 12 by 30 per cent. The decision was taken as educational institutions remain shut in view of coronavirus pandemic. Announcing this development, Union HRD Minister Ramesh Nishank Pokhriyal said that the core concepts have been retained in the curriculum.
