Represented by 804 athletes and officials, the Indian contingent has so far clinched 6 Gold, 5 Silver and 13 Bronze medals. Tennis
Top seeds Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan grabbed their maiden men's doubles gold medal at the Asian Games by beating Aleksander Bublik and Denis Yevseyev of Kazakhstan 6-3, 6-4 in 52 minutes on Friday.
Rowing Quadruple Sculls
On Day 6, Sawarn Singh, Dattu Bhokanal, Om Prakash and Sukhmeet Singh clinched the gold in the men's quadruple sculls event. Their gold is only the second gold for India in rowing at the Asian Games, the first was won by Bajrang Lal Takhar in men's singles sculls at the 2010 Games.
Shooting
Shooter Rahi Sarnobat won the gold medal in the 25m pistol competition on Wednesday with a Games record score of 34 in the finals. Rahi was tied on 34 with Thailand's Naphaswan Yangpaiboon after the regulation rounds and had to complete in two rounds of shoot-offs before she ultimately emerged as the winner.

Shooter Saurabh Chaudhary, 16, created history at the Asian Games when he clinched the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol event. The young shooter, playing his first big international tournament, qualified for the final in the top spot ahead of four-time Olympic gold medallist Jin Jong-oh. Coached by Jaspal Rana, Chaudhary began his shooting career only three years back and won the gold in the Junior World Shooting Championships this summer.
Wrestling
Vinesh Phogat created history on Monday (August 20) by becoming the first Indian woman wrestler to win an Asian Games gold. Phogat won the second gold medal for India at the Asian Games 2018, by defeating Japan's Yuki Irie by a comprehensive margin of 6-2 in the 50 kg freestyle.
Wrestling
On August 19, Bajrang Punia won all his bouts to win the gold in the 65kg category. Puniya defeated Uzbekistan's Sirojiddin (13-3), Tajikistan's Fayziev Abdulqosim (12-2) and Mongolia's N Batmagnai Batchuluu (10-0) to storm into the gold medal bout. The final against Daichi Takatani of Japan was a close-fought encounter but Bajrang managed to hold his lead throughout and close out the win with an 11-8 scoreline.
Kabaddi
Indian Women kabaddi team lost to Iran in Asian Games 2018 and grabbed a silver medal on Friday. The two-time defending champions were knocked out after scoring 24 point, while Iran scored 27 points in a nail-biting final match.
Double trap
Shardul Vihan,15, clinched the silver medal in the men's double trap shooting event on Day 5 of the Games. The teenager, who hails from Meerut, scored 73 points to claim the silver medal, while Korea's 34-year-old Shin Hyunwoo clinched the gold medal with a score of 74. Qatar's Al Marri Hamad Ali bagged the bronze after shooting 53 at the Jakabaring shooting range.

Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput clinched a silver medal after letting slip early domination in the men's 50m Rifle 3 Positions event. The 37-year-old shot 452.7 to claim the silver medal, while China's Hui Zicheng notched up the gold medal with a score of 453.3. Japan's Matsumoto Takayuki bagged the bronze with 441.4.
Trap shooting
Twenty-year-old shooter Lakshay Sheoran won the silver medal by finishing second in the men's trap final at the 2018 Asian Games on Monday. Sheron, who had finished fourth in the qualification round, got 43 points to finish second behind Chinese Taipei's Kunpi Yang, who equalled the world record score of 48.

Indian shooter Deepak Kumar bagged the silver medal in men's 10m air rifle event after producing excellent scores on Monday. Deepak shot 247.7 to finish second on the podium behind China's Haoran Yang, who won the Gold with a record 249.1.
