This year's tagline is  "The Runway to a Billion Opportunities". It was created to communicate India's value proposition in addressing opportunities in aerospace and aviation. India's aerospace sector includes the  110 multi-role fighter jets and 111 naval utility helicopters as well as the indigenous development of the light combat helicopter.

The five-day biennial air show will continue till February 24. The aerobatic display featured Hindustan Aeronautics Limited's indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas. Apart from the Tejas, the HTT-40 Basic Trainer Aircraft, first indigenously upgraded Hawk Mk132- or Hawk-i, Civil Do-228 were some of the others on display

The  Rafale, Sukhoi SU-30, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Super Hornet  are some of the others on display at this aero show. 403 exhibitors would be part of the grand biennial event in Bengaluru.
