A nation's military might goes a long way in establishing its status in the world. The Global Firepower ranking has utilised 50 individual factors to determine a nation's PowerIndex score. The categories considered range from military might and financials to logistical capability and geography. It has had growing tensions with US and India of late.This is the first time China has hiked its military budget to more than $200 bn. The latest increase is more than 3 times higher than India's latest budget.
