Wrestler-turned-movie star Dwayne Johnson clung to the top slot on the list of the world's highest-paid male actors for a second straight year, according to an annual tally released by Forbes magazine.Check out the names of other stars that are leading the top 10 list according to their earnings estimates. The figures are pre-tax and do not include deductions for fees given to agents, managers, and lawyers, Forbes said.

10- Jackie ChanWidely revered martial arts star, Jackie Chan is at number ten with total earnings of $40 million. He pads his film income with millions from endorsements and licensing deals, according to Forbes.

9- Adam SandlerHere comes the comedian Sandler with $41 million as his total earnings. In January, he signed a with Netflix to create four more movies for the platform after his film Murder Mystery became one of the most popular films of all time, said Forbes in the list.

8- Will SmithThe actor is on number 8 position with total earnings of $44.5 million. The Bad Boys actor will soon be seen as King Richard in his upcoming film where he will be seen portraying the role of Richard Williams, father of tennis greats Serena and Venus. He covers most part of his earnings with mobile phone hits and also earns pretty well by his popular Instagram account, said Forbes.

7- Lin-Manuel MirandaLin-Manuel Miranda is number seven on the list with $45.5 million.According to Forbes, Disney acquired worldwide movie rights to the original Broadway production of Hamilton for $75 million this year and this has put the actor on the list for the first time.

6- Akshay KumarAkshay Kumar, the only Bollywood star in the top 10, landed at sixth position with earnings of $48.5 million. Most of his income came from product endorsements, Forbes said.

5- Vin DieselFast and Furious actor, Vin Diesel managed to bag the fifth position with total earnings amounting to $54 million.The actor kept the franchise running by acting as producer on the animated Netflix series Fast & Furious Spy Races, said Forbes.

He earned $20 million for that film, plus another $20 million for Netflix movie "Six Underground," the magazine said, part of his $71.5 million total for the one-year period.
