The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Wednesday said that the second-term exams for Class 10 and 12 will start from April 26.
"The board after discussion with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country has decided to conduct the Term II examinations in offline mode, CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said in a notification.
The theory exams will begin from April 26, 2022. The datesheet for classes 10 and 12 will be released soon and will be available on the board's website.
CBSE said that the pattern of question papers will be the same as that of the sample question papers on its website.
"The students will appear in the examinations from the allotted examination centres as done during the preceding years," it added.
CBSE had decided to conducted the board examination for session 2021-22 in two terms due to the uncertainty because of the pandemic.
