U.P. Govt Waives 100% Registration Fees On Hybrid Maruti, Toyota & Honda Cars

The Uttar Pradesh (UP) government has reportedly announced a full waiver of registration tax on strong hybrid cars, potentially saving customers up to ₹3.50 lakh . The reported move will benefit companies such as Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL), Honda Cars India (HCIL), and Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM). The state, according to reports, is offering a "100 percent waiver on registration fees for strong hybrid electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles" through a directive issued on July 5.
