Tata Motors, has unveiled the eagerly anticipated 2023 facelift of Tata Nexon EV, its flagship electric vehicle. Tata Nexon EV already enjoys a dominant position in the EV market. Here is all you need to know about the 2023 Tata Nexon EV.
Tata Nexon EV’s price has not been confirmed by the company yet. However, it is expected to be revealed on September 14, 2023. Some reports suggest that it is likely to cost around Rs 15 lakh.
2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift will be available for booking in the country from 8 am on September 9, 2023 (World EV Day). Interested buyers have to pay a token amount of Rs 21,000 at the time of booking.

The Nexon EV is powered by a Gen 2 electric motor that has a higher operational range than the previous generation motor. The Gen 2 motor can run up to 16,000 rpm, compared to the previous generation motor, which could only run up to 12,000 rpm. This allows the Nexon EV Max to deliver more power and torque.
The new 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift amplifies the aesthetics with its revamped exteriors and interiors. The facelift promises a better highway-presence with its revamped headlamps, bumpers, and new grille design.
Tata Motors has renamed the Nexon EV variants to Long Range and Mid-Range, instead of Prime and Max. The Nexon EV Long Range gives a range of 465 kilometers on a single charge. The Nexon EV Mid-Range gives it a range of 325 kilometers on a single charge.
The Nexon EV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds, which is 1.1 seconds faster than the previous version. It also has a top speed of 150 kmph, which is 30 kmph faster.
The Tata Nexon EV Medium Range now includes a 7.2 kW charging feature, which was previously exclusive to the top version. The charging time is reduced to 56 minutes when using a fast charger.
The new Tata Nexon EV gets technologies such as automatic climate control featuring Xpress cooling and an auto defogger.
Tata Nexon EV comes with new alloy wheels, connected LED tail lights, a redesigned rear bumper, along with much more premium cabin with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully-digital instrument cluster, a new two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo in the middle. It also features a 320-watt Harman-sourced JBL sound system with five speakers, and the updated digital console can display navigation.
The Flame Red, Pristine White, and Daytona Grey are the only three colors available with all three variants of the Nexon EV facelift.
