Honda has powered their Elevate SUV with the 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine churning out 121 PS power and 145.1 Nm torque. The new SUV comes with ample legroom for the rear passengers. The features of this new car include an advanced 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and various safety features like Lane Watch, Lane Keeping Assist, Rear Parking Sensor, emergency stop signal, Hill Start Assist and Honda Sense ADAS. Honda is expected to keep the price of Honda Elevate between Rs 12 lakh to 17 lakh

Maruti Suzuki provides two different 1.5-litre engine options for its compact SUV Grand Vitara: 1462cc and 1490cc displacement. The 1462cc option churns out 101bhp and 136.8 Nm torque. While 1490cc produces 91.18bhp and 122Nm of torque as it is the Hybrid option. Talking about the features, Grand Vitara comes with a panoramic sunroof, Head-Up Display, 360-degree surround view camera and front ventilated seats. The car also has cruise control, useful on long drives and highways. It is priced from Rs 10.70 to 17.70 lakh.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has two engine options both with hybrid abilities – a 1.5-litre engine with Toyota Hybrid System churning out 85kW power and 141Nm torque, the other one is a K-series 1.5-litre with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) which gives a combined output of 75kW power and 135Nm of torque. The car also has a 4WD drivetrain along with the conventional 2WD. Urban Cruiser Hyryder has a number of features including Heads-Up Display, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, cruise control and hill hold control. The price of this ranges between Rs 10.17 lakh and Rs 17.31 lakh.

The 2023 Kia Seltos comes with two engine options: 1.5-litre petrol and the 1.5-litre turbo diesel. The 1.5-litre petrol engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT, whereas the 1.5 diesel engine comes with a new 6-speed iMT gearbox while also retaining the 6-speed torque converter option. The company also launched a new facelift on the global market earlier this year which is set to come to India in a couple of months.

The new Seltos will feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system, panoramic sunroof and latest safety features including  Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Blind Spot Collision Warning, 360-degree camera and ADAS. The price of the current version of Seltos ranges from Rs 10.89 lakh to Rs 15.90 lakh

Korean automaker, Hyundai gives two engine options for Creta: a naturally aspirated 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. In terms of infotainment, it features a similar 10.25-inch infotainment system  but with Bose speakers. It also has ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and hill hold assist amongst a long list of other features. Hyundai Creta price ranges from Rs. 10.87 lakh to Rs. 19.20 lakh.

Skoda Kushaq gets a 113 bhp 1.0-litre TSI motor which gives 113 bhp and 178 Nm, paired with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed torque-converter AT. They also get a 148 bhp 1.5-litre TSI engine that comes mated to a 6-speed MT and a 7-speed DSG. The German carmaker has equipped the SUV with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control,  ventilated seats and a single-pane sunroof.

Kushaq is also one of the safest SUVs in India with a 5-star Global NCAP rating. The safety features of the car include rollover protection, multi-collision braking and traction control among others. Skoda Kushaq is priced between Rs 11.59 lakh and Rs 18.09 lakh.

Volkswagen Taigun has two petrol engine options available with different kinds of transmission: a 1.0-litre three-cylinder TSI petrol engine churning out 115 PS of power and 175 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder TSI petrol engine producing 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. Features of this SUV include a 10.1-inch infotainment system, a single-pane sunroof, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, cruise control, and keyless entry with push-button start. Taigun is priced from Rs 11.62 lakh to 17.35 lakhs.

MG gives two engine options for its SUV Astor: a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine giving 140PS of power with 220 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre normally aspirated engine churning out 110PS and 144Nm of torque. Features of Astor are: six airbags, ADAS features (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) which include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automated emergency braking, lane-keeping/departure assist, high-beam assist, and blind-spot recognition. It is also equipped with a 360-degree camera. MG Astor is priced between Rs 10.82 lakhs and Rs 17.30 lakh.
