Hyundai India has officially announced that it will launch the all-electric Ioniq 5 SUV on January 11, 2023
The eSUV measures 4,635mm in length, 1,890mm in width and 1,625mm in height and has a wheelbase of 3,000mm
It gets parametric pixel LED headlamps, LED taillamps with signature pixel design and 20-inch alloy wheels with parametric design
The Ioniq 5's cabin has features like eco-processed seat upholstery, magnetic dashboard, sliding central console with 140mm of travel and sliding glove box. It also has a 12.3-inch infotainment display and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 comes with a rear-mounted electric motor, which produces 217 bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of torque, and comes with a promising 72.6kWh battery pack
Hyundai Ioniq 5 price would be announced at Auto Expo 2023. As per Auto Today, it is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 50 lakh to 55 lakh
Hyundai India has said the SUV has an ARAI-certified range of 631km. A 350kW DC fast charger will take 18 minutes to juice up the battery from 10% to 80%
It will be offered in three exterior colour options namely Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White, and Midnight Black Pearl
Hyundai Ioniq 5 was unveiled in December 2022 at an event in Mumbai but its price was not announced
The Ioniq 5 won three honours at the 2022 World Car Awards - World Car of the Year, World Electric Vehicle of the Year and World Car Design of the Year
