Hyundai has unveiled the much-awaited Hyundai Verna 2023 with a completely new design, interiors, size and engine. The Verna competes with the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and others in the market. The new 2023 Hyundai Verna is priced at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom) for the EX 1.5-litre 6MT variant, the top-spec 1.5-litre Turbo SX(O) 7DCT is priced at Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom)
In terms of features, the Hyundai Verna 2023 comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment system paired with Bose speakers, multi-language support and over 65 connected car tech. The sedan comes in a total of ten options under six variants: EX, S, SX, SX(O), SX Turbo, SX(O) Turbo
The 2023 Honda City comes with two engine options; a 1.5-litre NA petrol with 121bhp and 145Nm of torque. The Hyundai Verna comes with a 1.5-liter MPi variant and a 1.5-liter GDi petrol engine
The Honda City measures 4,583mm long (ZX), 1,748mm wide, 1,489mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,600mm. The 2023 Hyundai Verna, however, measures 4,535mm in length, 1,765mm in width and 1,475mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,670mm.
The Honda City is priced at Rs 11.55 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.97 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna has been launched at a price of Rs 10.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.37 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz comes with a 1.5-litre NA Petrol motor making 105bhp and 138Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed MT or a 4-speed AT. The Hyundai Verna comes with a 1.5-liter MPi variant and a 1.5-liter GDi petrol engine.
The Ciaz is priced from Rs 9.19 lakh to Rs 12.18 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna has been unveiled at a price of Rs 10.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.37 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
Besides the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz and Honda City, the 2023 Verna competes against the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia in the market. Volkswagen Virtus is priced at Rs 11.32 lakh and goes upto Rs 18.42 lakh. Skoda Slavia is priced at Rs. 11.29 lakh and goes upto Rs. 18.40 lakh.
