All categories posted a y-o-y growth in June, according to FADA. Two-wheelers were up by 7%, three-wheelers up by 75%. Passenger vehicles saw a 5% growth, whereas tractors saw an increase of 41%. Commercial vehicles (CV) were up by 0.44%
FADA said the passenger vehicle segment faces inventory pressures and demand-supply mismatches, impacting profitability
In the passenger vehicle segment, Maruti Suzuki India topped the vertical, with a 41.09% market share. Hyundai Motor India was the second with a 14.59% market share. Tata Motors was the close third with a 13.47% market share
