Nissan launched the new edition of its SUV Magnite today (May 26). The special edition has been named Nissan Magnite Geza Edition.
The company teased the car earlier in May and also started the bookings for Nissan Magnite Geza Edition. Interested customers can book the new SUV for just Rs 11,000.
The new Nissan Magnite Geza edition will be available in five colour options - Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Strom White, Sandstone Brown, and Onyx Black.
Nissan Magnite Geza edition of the Japanese carmaker will come with two engine options - 1.0-litre turbo-less manual engine producing 71bhp power with a torque of 96Nm. The second option will be a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine producing 160Nm of torque with 96bhp power.
In terms of transmission, Nissan Magnite Geza Edition will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox for both the engines. The turbocharged version will also have the option of a CVT-based automatic transmission.

The latest version of this Nissan SUV will come with the latest 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system along with JBL speakers. Nissan Magnite Geza will also have a reverse parking camera.
Nissan revealed that the new infotainment system for Magnite Geza will be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They have also added a shark fin antenna for better connectivity.
The new version of Magnite will have a Beige-coloured interior, from seat upholstery to the dashboard. Users will be able to change the ambient lighting with the help of a mobile app.
Nissan has priced the starting variant of Magnite Geza Edition at Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Magnite Geza will compete with cars like Citroen C3, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Hyundai Exter and Tata Nexon.
