Tata offers huge discounts in July on Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Safari; Check out key details and other cars on offer

After announcing a price hike of 0.6% for all of their cars, Tata Motors is now offering discounts of up to Rs 50,000 this month on cars like Altroz and Safari.

Tata Motors: Discount Offers

On its smallest car the hatchback Tiago, Tata Motors has offered discounts of up to Rs 45,000. The car is available in petrol, CNG and electric variants. For the petrol version, Tata is offering Rs 20,000 cash discount, exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and corporate discount of Rs 5,000. The CNG version offers an additional Rs 10,000 cash discount. There is no discount offer on the electric version.

Tata Tiago: Discount Offer

For the sedan Tata Tigor, the discount on offer is up to Rs 50,000. Tigor has discounts on two variants – petrol and CNG. On the petrol version, the discount is the same as the one for Tiago. But the CNG version gets a bigger discount with Rs 35,000 cash discount, Rs 5,000 corporate discount and Rs 10,000 exchange bonus.

Tata offers the hatchback with three fuel options – petrol, diesel and CNG. But the offer is only on petrol and diesel variants. The base model of Altroz offers benefits of Rs 23,000. While the upper models and diesel variants get discounts of up to Rs 28,000.

Tata Harrier and Tata Safari, the top SUVs of Tata Motors, are also on offer with discounts of Rs 35,000. But the company has excluded the Red Dark Edition of its cars from this offer.

The starting ex-showroom price of cars on offer is: Tiago – Rs 5.60 lakh Tigor – Rs 6.30 lakh Altroz – Rs 6.60 lakh Harrier – Rs 15 lakh Safari – Rs 15.65 lakh

Although most of its cars are included in discount offers in July, Tata still decided to exclude its top selling cars Nexon and Tata Punch from the scheme.

Tata Motors is expected to launch the electric edition of Punch later this year along with the racer edition of Altroz. The SUVs Harrier and Safari are also expected to get a facelift next year.

In its push to maintain its dominance in the EV segment, Tata signed a Rs 13,000 crore deal last month to set up a lithium ion cell factory in Gujarat. The new factory is expected to start operations in less than three years, which will decrease the company’s reliance on imports.
