The Indian market sees automobile launches throughout the year but while some months are filled with car launches, August is going to be filled with bike launches.
Hero MotoCorp released a teaser last month confirming the launch of its revived Karizma brand bike. The new Karizma XMR 210 is expected to launch later this month. Hero is expected to run its new bike on a 210cc liquid-cooled engine with an output of 18bhp and 16Nm torque. Other features of the bike include LED lamps, digital instrument cluster, disc brakes and monoshock rear suspension. The expected price for Hero Karizma XMR 210 ranges from Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 1.80 lakh.
Royal Enfield is going to launch the latest version of its cruiser with the new J-platform. The new bike is expected to launch later this month with a single cylinder 349cc engine. The engine also powers Hunter 350, Classic Meteor 350 and the Classic 350. So, the output is expected to remain the same at 20.2 bhp power and 27Nm torque. Some of the features will include telescopic forks at the front and a new switchgear. The new Bullet 350 price is expected to be around Rs 1.60 lakh. Representative Image

The Japanese auto giant is expected to launch their third bike in the 150 to 180cc segment on August 2. The new bike is expected to be place between Unicorn 160 and CB Hornet 2.0 with a price tag of around Rs 1.10 lakh.
Japanese brand, Yamaha might launch its new MT-09 for the Indian customers in August. The new bike is expected to run on a 889cc liquid-cooled inline-triple engine producing 119 PS of power and 93Nm of torque. The bike is expected to have a 6-speed transmission, slipper clutch and dual disc brakes in the front. The new MT-09 is expected to have 17-inch alloy wheels. Yamaha might price its new MT-09 at Rs 11.50 lakh.
The Italian bike manufacturer is expected to debut its new M502N for the Indian market in the coming weeks. The new bike from MBP is expected to be powered by a single-cylinder 499cc liquid-cooled engine giving an output of 41.5 bhp of power and 36.5 Nm of torque. Some of the expected features include disc brakes on both wheels, digital instrument cluster and LED lights. The new MBP M502N is expected to launch at Rs 5 lakh.
Electric two-wheeler giant, Ather is set to unveil its most affordable electric scooter in India later this month. The new variant of Ather 450 will become the new entry-level offering from the company. The new scooter will have lower specs and features than the Ather 450 like a budget friendly LED console and a decreased range of 115kms. The top speed is also expected to be reduced to 90kmph. But the scooter is expected to support smartphone connectivity. Ather might keep the price of its 450 S scooter between Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 1.30 lakh.
The India two-wheeler manufacturer TVS has already released a photo and a press invite for the launch of its new electric scooter on August 23. The name of the product is not mentioned, but the headlight looks similar to the Creon electric scooter, which TVS unveiled at the Auto Expo earlier this year. The new scooter is expected as a major upgrade from TVS’ existing e-scooter, the iQube. The new TVS Creon is expected to be priced at Rs 1.20 lakh.
