Mahindra recently shed light on its ambitious plans for the electric vehicle (EV) sector. The company unveiled the launch timeline of their new electric SUVs. Along with the introduction of the Thar.e, pick-up truck based on ScorpioN, and the OJA tractor range, the company also announced the launch timelines of its upcoming electric SUVs–XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07, and Bolero.e. Besides that, Mahindra also came up with a new logo for its upcoming range of electric SUVs

Mahindra will first launch the XUV.e8 in December 2024. The electric SUV will be based on the ICE part of the Mahindra XUV700. It will be a rear-wheel drive only and will be powered by a Valeo-sourced electric motor put on the rear axle. It has the capacity to produce 170 kW and 380 Nm of peak torque. It will be a seven-seater electric XUV

Mahindra BE.05 will be launched in October 2025. While the 2WD models will have a rear-mounted motor producing a solid 210kW (286hp) and 535Nm, 4WD models will get a second motor on the front axle producing 80kW (109hp) and 135Nm
