The MV Ganga Vilas cruise covered over 3,200 km and passed through 27 river systems in five Indian states, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Assam, and Bangladesh
The cruise has travelled through 27 river systems in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Bangladesh, and Assam, including the three major rivers Ganga, Meghna, and Brahmaputra
MV Ganga Vilas reached Bangladesh on February 4 and touched the Mongla port, Barishall before entering Assam
In Assam, MV Ganga Vilas halted at Dhubri, Jogighopa, Pandu (Guwahati), Kaziranga, and Majuli before completing its journey at Dibrugarh
During the journey, the onboard tourists visited 50 tourist spots including world heritage sites, and river ghats in Patna, Sahibganj, Kolkata, Dhaka and Guwahati
Operated by the Antara Luxury River Cruises, the per day cost of the MV Ganga Vilas cruise is Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000. If the passenger wants to complete the full tour, the cost per person is Rs 20 lakh

After its maiden journey, MV Ganga Vilas cruise will embark on a 30-day voyage to Kolkata on Thursday with 15 Swiss tourists
