Burger King is a global franchise, which is known for its cheeseburgers, and now its Thailand operator has introduced a new unique burger, which has sent internet into a tizzy.
The Burger King in Thailand recently introduced what they call a ‘real cheeseburger’ with a jaw-dropping 20 slices of American cheese between two buns and no meat at all.
Burger King posted the photo of the burger on social media captioning the photo as, “This is no joke. This is for real.”
The ‘real cheeseburger’ costs a person 109 Thai baht ($3.1), which is far less compared to the usual price of 380 Thai baht ($10.9).
Manager of one of the Burger King outlets in Bangkok was heard saying that their outlet had to stop taking delivery orders to save stock for walk-in diners.
Customers had mixed reactions about the new offering of the fast food chain. One 25-year-old IT engineer said she loved cheese but “this was a bit too much”. She added that she could only eat half of it.
Another customer said, “Other burgers are already good. I think I will go back to my double cheese angus as usual.”
The worldwide fast food chain also provides a healthier alternative to beef in the form of Salmon Katsu burger.
Another famous burger of the franchise is the ‘Whopper’ on which they have doubled down in the United States. Whopper is a flame-grilled signature beef burger.
Last month, teens turned Grimace shake, a McDonald's drink, into the latest bizarre TikTok trend as they filmed themselves pretending to die or suffer other gruesome fates after downing the bright purple shake.
