Radhakishan Damani, the founder of DMart chain of hypermarkets, has topped the country's self-made entrepreneurs list. His company Avenue Supermarts has a market cap of Rs 2.38 lakh crore.

Flipkarts' Binny and Sachin Bansal

Radhakishan Damani is followed by Binny Bansal and Sachin Bansal with an equity value of Rs 1.19 lakh crore.

Zomato, Swiggy, Dream11

Zomato's Deepinder Goyal, with a market cap of Rs 86,835 crore, was at the third position. The fourth position was shared by Swiggy's Sriharsha Majety and Nandan Reddy and Dream 11's Bhavit Sheth, Harsh Jain, with a market cap of Rs 66,542 crore.

Other toppers on the list

Razorpay’s Harshil Mathur & Shashank Kumar (Rs 62,384 crore), Abhay Soi of Max Healthcare Institute (Rs 55,085 crore), Paytm's Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Rs 54,328 crore), Cred's Kunal Shah (Rs 53,234 crore) and Zerodha's Nithin Kamath & Nikhil Kamath (Rs 50,630 crore) also featured in the top 10 list.

Youngest on the rich list

The youngest on the rich list is Zepto's Kaivalya Vohra, who is 21. He is followed by BharatPe's Shashvat Nakrani (25), Dilsher Malhi (27) & Siddhant Saurabh (28) of Zupee, and Ritesh Agarwal (29) of OYO.

Nykaa's Falguni Nayar and Mamaearth's Ghazal Alagh

Falguni Nayar of Nykaa tops the list of women entrepreneurs with a market cap of Rs 43,685 crore. She is also the most experienced among women to enter India's Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia 2023.

Youngest women on the list

The list of youngest women in the list is led by Ghazal Alagh (35) of Mamaearth, Saumya Singh Rathore (35) of Winzo, followed by Garima Sawhney (37) of Pristyn Care.

Cities and entrepreneurs

In terms of cities, Bengaluru has the highest representation with 69 companies, followed by Mumbai (41), Gurugram (26), New Delhi (18) and Chennai (11). The collective value of the featured companies amounts to Rs 30 lakh crore.

Entrepreneurs and IITs

38 founders on the list graduated from IIT Delhi, making it the most preferred undergraduate college for the top self-made entrepreneurs. This is followed by IIT Mumbai with 24 entrepreneurs and IIT Kharagpur with 20 entrepreneurs.
