Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has been ranked 45th in Forbes' latest Global 2000 list of public companies. It climbed eight spots, to reach the highest level for an Indian company on the coveted list. RIL closed at Rs 2483.1 on June 14. RIL opened at Rs 2521 on NSE on Wednesday

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) made its maiden entry to the Forbes list at 363 rank. On Wednesday, LIC opened at Rs 599.90 on NSE 
State Bank of India (SBI) - 77th rank 
HDFC Bank - 128th rank 
ICICI Bank – 163rd rank
