While speaking at BT MindRush event on Wednesday, Nandan Nilekani addressed concerns around privacy and Aadhaar
Nilekani said: "There is no central storage for all places where one discloses their Aadhaar. Banks keep their data; healthcare systems keep their data."
"If you're opening an account in a bank, the data is in the bank.....if you use it for a health application, it's in the health system.”
The former UIDAI chairman further explained that Aadhaar is a system of optimal ignorance, meaning “the other system does not know what you did with Aadhaar.”
The Infosys co-founder said that he believes AI is “huge.” He added that, "AI will have impact across sectors and industries."
