The first pitch saw Anirudh Anil Pole and Pole Roshan Bhaskar pitching their fitness start-up, ABC Fitness firm
The pitch saw a basketball match between the sharks and the students at ABC. Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta scored a point each. The ABC students, however, failed to pick up a single point
ABC’s ask was Rs 40 lakh for 2% equity at a valuation of Rs 20 crore. They were able to get shark Peyush Bansal on board, who agreed to give Rs 40 lakh for 10% equity at a valuation of Rs 4 crore
The next company, Primebook, makes affordable Android-based laptops. The co-founders shared that they wanted to expand the scope of digital literacy in India by selling these laptops, which cost around Rs 15,000
Primebook’s ask was Rs 75 lakh for 1.5% equity at a valuation of Rs 50 crore. This was about to become another shark fight as four sharks rolled out an offer and showed interest to invest in the company
Finally, Peyush Bansal and Aman Gupta came on board for Rs 75 lakh for 3% equity at a valuation of Rs 25 crore
The last company was Daily Dump which designs and develops composters. It was started by Poonam Kasturi who in the past has been a teacher, entrepreneur, and more
Finally, Namita Thapar came on board to support Poonam Kasturi and her cause. She decided to invest Rs 30 lakh for 4% equity and Rs 50 lakh debt at an interest of 10% at a valuation of Rs 7.5 crore
