A few weeks after Met Gala 2023, Cannes Film Festival has now kicked off. Johnny Depp is making a comeback after a long legal battle with Amber Heard. From Anushka Sharma, Manushi Chhillar to influencer Dolly Singh, here are some Indian celebrities who are set to attend the global film festival

Anushka Sharma is set to make her Cannes debut. She will honour women in cinema along with Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet. French Ambassador to India, Emmanuel Lenain, announced Anushka's attendance earlier this month

Sunny Leone is also set to make her Cannes Film Festival debut as her film Kennedy will premiere at the event. Kennedy will be screened in the Midnight Screenings Section. This is her first-ever collaboration with Anurag Kashyap

Influencer Dolly Singh, who has worked in web series like Modern Love: Mumbai, Double XL, and Butterflies, will be making her debut at Cannes Film Festival 2023. With an Instagram following of over 1.6 million, Dolly is also set to make her debut with a mainstream film later this year

Sara Ali Khan, who was last seen in a web series named Gaslight, will also be making her Cannes debut. Sara opted for a denim look paired with a leather jacket for her airport look as she left for the French riviera

Former Miss World Manushi Chillar, who made her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar-starrer Samrat Prithviraj, will now be making her Cannes debut. Manushi was seen leaving for France while wearing a white tank top and denims

Esha Gupta along with Sara Ali Khan and Manushi Chhillar will be part of the delegation led by Union Minister Dr L Murugan. They have been chosen to represent India at the global film festival

Apart from the newcomers, regular attendee Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who represents L’oreal at Cannes each year at the film festival, is expected to make a comeback. Apart from her, Vijay Varma, Tammanah Bhatia and Aditi Rao Hydari will also return to Cannes

Director Anurag Kashyap's ‘Kennedy’ will be screened along with actor Rahul Roy's ‘Agra’. Manipuri filmmaker Aribam Syam Sharma's award-winning film from 1990 ‘Ishanou’ will be screened as well

It is yet to be confirmed if Deepika Padukone will be attending Cannes Film Festival 2023. Last year, Deepika made her debut as Cannes’ jury.
