Nani’s latest film Dasara is moving closer to the Rs 100 crore mark at the global box office. The film collected Rs 87 crore at the worldwide box office within four days of its release

The Telugu language period drama has also fared well at the domestic box office. The film collected around Rs 61.65 crore on Monday as per initial estimates

Day 3: Rs 12.1 crore

Day 5: Around Rs 4 crore
The film has a rating of 7.8/10 on IMDb whereas it has an audience score of 75 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes
The film is set in Singareni coal mines near Godavarikhani in Telangana and is centred around a young ruffian Dharani who makes his living by stealing coal. He lives with his grandmother and spends most of his time with his friends Suryam and Vennela
Made at a budget of around Rs 65 crore, the film features Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar in significant roles
The Nani and Keerthy Suresh film will also stream on Netflix. The date from which the film will be available on the OTT platform is, however, unknown. The film’s OTT rights were acquired by Netflix for a massive sum of Rs 22 crore, as per reports
The actor, also known as Natural Star, said in an interview with India Today that he knew it would be very challenging both physically and mentally given the conditions the team was shooting in. He added people fell sick on set because of extreme dust and climate
The star noted Dasara is about love and friendship while adding he believes the film will connect with everyone. He further said, “We are not promoting Dasara across India because we want to make it a big film but because the story deserves it.”
RRR filmmaker SS Rajamouli wrote, “Amidst the rugged landscape and raw characters, Srikanth Odela manages a tender heart touching lovestory. Career best performance by Nani. Keerthy cake walks through her role. Every actor’s performance is note worthy. Cinematography is first class. Special mention to the background score.
