Rishab Shetty’s Kantara, Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja-starrer RRR, Pan Nalin’s Chhello Show are the movies sent by India to the Academy Awards committee for consideration in Oscars 2023 nominations
Kantara has been sent for nomination in the ‘For Your Consideration’ category
Kantara producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films said, “We have submitted our application for Oscars for Kantara and have our fingers crossed as the final nominations are yet to come.”
Kantara focuses on a king who enters an agreement with the local deity Panjurli Daiva to give away a portion of his land to the locals in exchange of peace and happiness
