RRR lead actors and superstars Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been nominated in the Best Actor Category at the 2023 Critics Super Choice Awards
At the Critics Super Choice Awards 2023, JR NTR and Ram Charan will compete against Tom Cruise (Top Gun: Maverick), Nicholas Cage (The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent) and Brad Pitt (Bullet Train) in the Best Actor Category
The SS Rajamouli film has also been nominated in the Best Action Movie category with Top Gun: Maverick and Bullet Train

The period-action drama could not make it to the final five nominations under the ‘film not in English language’ category at the 2023 BAFTA Awards
Talking about the success of RRR, superstar Ram Charan told Good Morning America show, “RRR is about friendship, great brotherhood, camaraderie, and the relationship between these two characters. And I think it is one of the finest writings of my director Rajamouli, he is known as the Steven Spielberg of India”
Ram Charan who has worked with the ace director in Magadheera before RRR said that he hopes Rajamouli will make inroads into global cinema very soon
Set in the 1920s, the film is centered around freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju and their contributions to the freedom struggle
