In the United States, the consecration event will be broadcast live at approximately 300 locations, including the iconic Times Square in New York. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has erected over 40 billboards in states like Texas, Illinois, and Georgia, creating a festive atmosphere with week-long celebrations and auto rallies.
Major cities in Australia witness Hindu communities organizing car rallies in anticipation of the Ayodhya event. Celebrations are planned at all temples, with live streaming available at several dozen locations, fostering a sense of unity and participation.
The Hindu community in the UK has organized car rallies leading up to the consecration ceremony. Starting from West London, the rally traversed East London before returning. Livestreaming will take place at more than 100 locations, complementing celebrations in temples across the country.
In Mauritius, where 48% of the population is Hindu, special arrangements are in place. The government grants a two-hour break to Hindu officials, and the temples will be adorned with 'diyas.' The day will resonate with 'Ramayan Path,' with a cultural program preceding the inauguration, featuring Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.
In France, a Grand Rath Yatra is scheduled, commencing from Place De La Chapelle and culminating at the Eiffel Tower's location, Place De Trocadero. Before the yatra, a 'Vishwa Kalyan Yagna' will be performed, featuring prayers, elaborate pujas, aarti, prasad distribution, and a cultural show.
In Canada, the Hindu community has arranged for the live streaming of the consecration event at various locations. Oakville and Brampton in Ontario have declared January 22 as 'Ayodhya Ram Mandir Day,' recognizing the immense cultural and historical significance of the event.
In India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the grand Ram temple's consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. The Vedic rituals, initiated on January 16, will conclude, and the Pran Pratishtha ceremony will be conducted by Varanasi priest Lakshmi Kant Dixit, culminating in a day of spiritual and historical significance.
