Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has bought a plot worth Rs 14.5 crore in Ayodhya. Bachchan plans to build a 10,000 square feet home in 'The Sarayu', a 7-star mixed-use enclave in the holy city.
Land prices in the city have hit the roof, about four to 10 times the prices four to five years ago.
In Faizabad Road, the cost of land in 2019 was between Rs 400 and Rs 700 per square foot; by October last year, it was gone up by Rs 1,500 to Rs 3,000 per square foot.
