In a historic event marking the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to spend five hours in Ayodhya today. The grand occasion, known as 'Pran Pratishtha,' will witness over 8,000 special invitees participating in the proceedings outside the sanctum sanctorum or 'garbh griha.'

Arrival at Ayodhya Airport  (10:25 am)

The Prime Minister is scheduled to touch down at Ayodhya Airport, commencing his visit to the sacred city.

Helicopter Arrival at Ram  Janambhoomi Premises  (10:55 am)

PM Modi will reach the Ram Janambhoomi premises via helicopter, marking the beginning of his presence at the iconic site.

Ram Janambhoomi  Premises Tour  (11 am to 12 noon)

During this time, the Prime Minister is expected to take a tour of the Ram Janambhoomi premises, possibly engaging in 'jaap' and exploring the area. Special invitees will already be seated inside the premises by 10 am.

'Pran Pratishtha' Ceremony  (12:05 pm to 12:55 pm)

The highlight of the event will be the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony, where the eyes of the Ram Lalla idol will be opened. PM Modi will play a significant role by applying kajal (kohl) to the idol and then showing a mirror. Helicopters will shower the temple with flower petals during this auspicious moment.

Public Speeches by  Dignitaries (1 pm to 2 pm)

Following the ceremony, public speeches will be delivered by PM Modi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Worship at Shiv Mandir on  Kuber Tila (2:10 pm)

PM Modi will proceed to worship at Shiv Mandir on Kuber Tila inside the Ram Janambhoomi premises. Kuber Tila holds significance as one of the major pilgrimage sites associated with Lord Ram, housing an ancient Shivalinga.

Tributes to Jatayu  Statue (2:30 pm)

During his visit to Kuber Tila, the Prime Minister may pay tributes to a new Jatayu statue, symbolizing the crucial role played by Jatayu in the Ramayana as he attempted to save Sita from Ravana's clutches.

Departure from Ayodhya  (3:30 pm)

PM Modi is expected to conclude his visit to Ayodhya by 3:30 pm.
