Covid-19 cases are again on a rise in India. The active Covid cases as of now are 7,605. A total number of 89,078 Covid tests were done on March 22. Three Covid-related deaths were recorded in India in the past 24 hours

PM Modi also emphasised on Covid-appropriate behaviour including wearing face masks, maintaining social distancing and advised senior citizens and those with comorbidities to stay indoors

Delhi reported 84 fresh Covid cases on March 21 taking up the cases tally to 292. Though, no Covid-related deaths were reported. The Covid positivity rate in Delhi rose to 5.08%

With 62 patients recovering in the last 24 hours, the number of Covid recovery cases in Delhi has gone up to 19, 81,355. The total caseload in Delhi is 20,08,171 and the total death toll is 26,524

Maharashtra has recorded a steep rise in the number of Covid cases. It had 159 fresh cases in the last 24 hours taking the total caseload to 79,90,401. One fatality has been recorded

The Covid-19 vaccination programme has been extended to children between the age of 12 years and 14 years after administering the doses to children between the age group 15 years and 18 years. They are being administered the Corbevax vaccine
