Currency outlook today (November 23): Analyst view

“Rupee settled almost flat as persistent local demand for the US dollar weighed on the unit. The rupee is struggling due to an increase in the trade deficit in October month and decline in the foreign exchange reserves. However, weakness in the dollar index and the US bond yields are supporting the rupee at lower levels. We expect a rupee to remain volatile this week amid volatility in the dollar index and a pair could trade in the range of 83.10-83.55," as per Rahul Kalantri, VP Commodities, Mehta Equities Ltd
