Policymakers, space agency representatives, innovators, and business leaders will converge for the India Space Congress 2024, scheduled from June 26-28 in New Delhi.
Organized by Satcom Industry Association India, the three-day event will focus on the theme ‘Bridging Boundaries, Transforming Tomorrow,’ highlighting global collaboration and innovation in the space sector.
The congress is expected to draw over 800 participants from around the world, providing a platform for international dialogue and partnership in space exploration.
The recent liberalization of policies by the Indian government, including allowing up to 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) in select space sectors and the introduction of space authorization guidelines by IN-SPACe, will be key discussion points.
Notable attendees include ISRO Chairman S. Somanath, IN-SPACe Chairman Pawan Kumar Goenka, Global Space Operations Association Director General Isabelle Mauro, and Leaolabs Australia President Terry Van Haren, among others.
The conference will feature approximately 35 thematic sessions, including a special session on the Indo-Pacific coalition, emphasizing collaborations with over 30 countries such as Australia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Africa, and the United States.
Attendees will benefit from keynote addresses, interactive workshops, and exhibitions, offering unique opportunities to engage and shape the future of space exploration and innovation.
