The 20th edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings for 2024 has been revealed. The 2024 edition of the rankings encompasses a diverse pool of 1,904 universities hailing from 108 countries and regions. This expansion signifies a significant growth compared to the 1,799 institutions evaluated in the previous year.

In this year's ranking, an extensive analysis encompassed over 134 million citations drawn from 16.5 million research publications. Additionally, insights were gathered through surveys, with responses obtained from 68,402 scholars from around the world. Here is list of top 10 universities of the world according to the latest ranking list:

Oxford University, founded in 1096, is not only the oldest university in the English-speaking world but also a symbol of academic excellence.
