PM Modi met Robert Thurman, an American Buddhist and author, known for his research and scholarship on aspects related to Buddhism. PM Modi said that he highlighted India’s Buddhist heritage and how Buddhism can help overcome many challenges our world faces
Elon Musk, the boss of Tesla and Twitter, said on meeting PM Modi, "I'm incredibly excited about the future of India. India has more promise than any large country in the world. He (PM Modi) really cares about India as he's pushing us to make significant investments in India. I am a fan of Modi.”
PM Modi also met Ray Dalio, co-founder of the hedge fund, Bridgewater Associates. Modi urged Dalio to deepen investments in India and also spoke about the reform trajectory of the Indian government
While talking to astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, PM Modi highlighted steps India is taking to reform the space sector and draw more youngsters towards science as well as innovation. After meeting PM Modi, Tyson said, “Potential for what India can accomplish under PM Modi knows no limits.”
