At the G20 Summit Session 3, PM Narendra Modi emphasised on human-centric vision instead of a GDP-centric approach. He has often echoed this sentiment in the lead up to the summit. In a blog on his official website, PM Modi wrote, “There is a growing realisation that a shift away from a GDP-centric view of the world to a human-centric view is needed.”

Talking about India’s growing economic prowess, PM Narendra Modi said, “In 10 years, India has moved from the 10th largest economy of the world to 5th largest economy of the world. In 10 years, India is now seen as a country with immense potential which is backed by impressive performance.” PM Modi said this during his first interview on the G20 Summit at his official residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi, where he interacted with Business Today Executive Director Rahul Kanwal, Business Today Editor Sourav Majumdar and BTTV Managing Editor Siddharth Zarabi, ahead of the global summit

On the success of Chandrayaan-3 Mission, PM Narendra Modi talked about new India being fearless, relentless and thinking in novel ways. He said, “This new India will provide solutions to the big problems of the world in the 21st century.”
During his address to the nation on Independence Day 2023, PM Narendra Modi spoke about entering Amrit Kaal, “We have entered an Amrit Kaal, which will lead us to a golden era of a thousand years. There is great faith and expectation from India.” Reiterating his faith in India’s economic boom, PM Modi said, “In the coming five years, India will be in the top three economies - This is Modi’s guarantee.”
