The General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Champat Rai, announced on Monday that the idol of Lord Ram will be placed in the 'Garbh Griha' of the temple on January 18.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, symbolizing the consecration of the idol, will occur at 12:20 pm on January 22. Religious rituals will commence on January 16 and conclude by 1 pm on January 22.
Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid of Varanasi determined the auspicious timing for the ceremony.
The idol, estimated to weigh 150-200 kgs, will undergo the 'Pran Pratishtha' ritual during the ceremony.
Extensive preparations are underway for the event, expected to draw thousands of dignitaries and attendees from various sections of society.
The Prana Pratishtha ceremony will adhere to Shastriya protocols, beginning with pre-ceremony rituals on January 16 and continuing until January 21.
The ceremony will include Dwadash Adhivas protocols, with 121 Acharyas conducting the rituals. Shri Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid Ji will oversee the proceedings, and the principal Acharya will be Shri Luckshmikant Dixit of Kashi.
Notable figures, including Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Mohan Bhagwat, Governor of Uttar Pradesh Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister of U.P. Yogi Adityanath, will attend the Prana Pratishtha.
The ceremony will witness the presence of Acharyas from various schools of spiritualism, traditions, and more than 150 Sants, Mahamandaleshwars, and leading figures from different traditions.
A unique aspect of the event is the representation of tribal traditions, with people from hills, forests, coastal belts, islands, etc., participating.
