According to police sources, Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav has confessed to arranging snakes and snake venom at rave parties organised by him, reported NDTV.

Remand in Custody

The 26-year-old YouTuber was remanded in 14-day judicial custody following his arrest, indicating the seriousness of the charges levelled against him and the legal proceedings underway.

Expansion of Charges

Elvish Yadav now faces additional charges under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, particularly Section 29, which pertains to drug-related conspiracies such as buying and selling, further complicating his legal predicament.

Use of Snakes in Videos

Besides the snake venom allegations, Elvish Yadav is also accused of incorporating snakes into his video shoots, with earlier claims suggesting that the reptiles were arranged by Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, as per police sources.

Arrests and Seizures

The police had previously arrested five individuals, including four snake charmers, in connection with the case after a raid at a banquet hall in Noida, where nine snakes and snake venom were confiscated, following a complaint by an NGO member.

NGO Complaint Triggers Investigation

The investigation was initiated following a complaint by an NGO member, who, after laying a trap and contacting Yadav for snake venom, traced the phone number provided to the five accused, leading to their apprehension.
