Paragon, located in Kozhikode, Kerala, clinched the 5th rank on the global list. Renowned for its biryani, Paragon is hailed as an emblem of the region's rich gastronomic history, particularly celebrated for its mastery of traditional Malabar cuisine.
Lucknow's famed Tunday Kababi secured the 6th spot on the esteemed list. Recognized for its mouth-melting galouti kebabs, Tunday Kababi, it is described as a jewel in the crown of Lucknow's culinary scene, gaining widespread acclaim for its Mughlai cuisine.
Another Indian entry in the top 10 is Peter Cat in Kolkata, claiming the 10th spot. Established in 1975, Peter Cat is renowned for its chelow kebabs.
Taste Atlas specifically highlights Paragon's representation of the region's rich gastronomic history and Tunday Kababi's acclaim for Mughlai cuisine, particularly the culinary masterpiece, galouti kebab.
Beyond the top 10, several other Indian restaurants earned spots in the comprehensive list of 100 legendary restaurants worldwide. Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba in Murthal secured the 16th spot, Mavalli Tiffin Rooms in Bengaluru claimed the 32nd rank, and Karim’s in Delhi held the 84th position.
