A retired senior Pentagon official has reported that UFO "mother ships" were observed releasing smaller craft, adding to the mystery surrounding unexplained aerial intrusions over several U.S. military bases.

For 17 nights in December 2023, small UFOs were seen moving at rapid speeds over Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. These objects displayed red, green, and white flashing lights and entered highly restricted airspace.

Despite the Air Force's use of signal-jamming devices to counteract the swarms, the drones remained unaffected. They also made no effort to conceal themselves, and in some cases, appeared to be intentionally visible.

Former Pentagon official Chris Mellon stated these incidents are part of a broader pattern of similar intrusions at other military and defense sites, including an episode at Palmdale, California, near Lockheed Martin’s classified Skunk Works facility.
The unusual activity led to two weeks of emergency White House discussions as investigators from the Air Force, local police, and NASA attempted to identify the craft with no conclusive results.
The drones are described as 20-feet long, capable of flying at over 100 miles per hour, and operating at altitudes between 3,000 and 4,000 feet. Despite extensive efforts, including NASA's high-tech WB-57F plane, no clear answers have emerged.

Beyond Langley, investigators at Edwards Air Force Base in California are also monitoring similar drone incursions. Officials have expressed concerns about the drones’ unknown origins and potential implications for U.S. security.
Despite the deployment of sophisticated countermeasures and investigatory resources, the origins and intentions of the mysterious craft remain unexplained, raising concerns over potential future security risks.
