UFOs that can transition seamlessly from air to sea pose an urgent national security threat with significant scientific implications, according to retired Navy officer Tim Gallaudet.

In July 2019, the USS Omaha recorded a UFO off the coast of San Diego. The object disappeared into the ocean without a trace, showcasing advanced capabilities.
The video of the incident, first released by Jeremy Corbell, was verified by the Pentagon. It highlights a threat to U.S. maritime security, which Gallaudet emphasized in his report.

Gallaudet criticized the Department of Defence (DoD) for not raising alarms about these unidentified objects. He suggested that the government might be withholding information about these phenomena.

In his report for the Sol Foundation, Gallaudet argued that it is scientifically valid to investigate these unexplained transmedium events, which involve objects displaying unprecedented abilities.

Gallaudet noted that pilots and military instrumentation have recorded objects accelerating and moving between air and sea in ways that defy current human-made technology and physical laws.
To address these security and scientific challenges, Gallaudet urged that transmedium UAP and USOs (unidentified submersible objects) be prioritized in national ocean research agendas.
Despite the creation of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO), its reports have been criticized as insufficient. Former intelligence officer David Grusch testified about secret programs to reverse-engineer UFO technology.
Gallaudet called for increased investment from the government, academia, and the private sector to explore underwater UFOs. He suggested that such research could also lead to new marine science discoveries.
