HDFC Bank this week tweaked the lounge access rules within India for its Regalia credit cards. The changes will be applicable from December 1, 2023
From December 1, the lounge access program for Regalia Credit Card will be based on the cardholder's spending. Cardholders who spend Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter can avail of up to two complimentary lounge access vouchers
After spending Rs 1 lakh or more in a calendar quarter, card users can Regalia SmartBuy page and generate the complimentary voucher. A QR code will be shared via email, which can be scanned at the lounge terminal
Under the new rules, Regalia cardholders can apply for a Priority Pass and add on members once they complete a minimum of four retail transactions on their card. By Priority Pass, the users and add-on members can avail of up to six Complimentary Lounge Access per calendar year, outside India
The credit card offers bonus 10,000 Reward Points on Rs 5 lakhs spends and additional 5,000 Reward Points on Rs 8 lakhs spends in an anniversary year
If users lose their HDFC Bank Regalia Credit Card and report it immediately to the bank, he or she can get the zero liability on any fraudulent transactions made on the card
Axis Bank revised the terms of its Magnus Credit Card, effective from September 1, 2023, and tweaked the annual fees to Rs 10,000 (+GST) to Rs 2,500 (+GST)
The card also offers unlimited domestic and international airport lounge visits, VIP services at the airports
Customers can earn 12 EDGE reward points for every Rs 200 on cumulative monthly spends up to Rs 1.5 lakh. They can earn 60 EDGE reward points for every Rs 200 spent on the Travel Edge portal, up to cumulative transactions of Rs 2 lakh per month
Axis Bank discontinued the annual benefit of vouchers worth Rs 10,000. Monthly milestone benefits of 25,000 EDGE Reward Points on monthly spends of Rs 1 lakh was discontinued. The card also discontinued the Tata CLiQ voucher for the newly onboarded members. Utility services and government institution payments have been excluded from reward eligibility
